As of 14 January 2015 a European Chapter of IAFIE is in existence. The International Association for Intelligence Education (IAFIE) is the leading international organization for intelligence education, established in 2004 in Erie, Pennsylvania. Its mission is to advance research, knowledge and professional development in intelligence education.
Chairman of the European Chapter is Bob de Graaff, professor for intelligence and security studies at the University of Utrecht and the Netherlands Defense Academy, The Netherlands.

Marking 100 Years of Military Intelligence in the Netherlands
The Netherlands Intelligence Studies Association (NISA), in cooperation with the Netherlands Defense Intelligence and Security Service (DISS), organized this conference in September 2014 in commemoration of 100 Years of Military Intelligence in the Netherlands.The organizers are particularly pleased  with both the high number - more than 200 - as well as the great variety in backgrounds and affiliations  of those who attended the two-day conference.
